Here's the unpleasant (but important) bit...

Please ensure you have measured and cleared your set up space. The Slumber Tent set up (tent frame and mattress) measures 195cm in length and 97cm in width for the longer beds, and 160cm in length and 97cm in width for the shorter beds.
Please ensure there is adequate parking close to your property or chosen site so that I can unload and re-load the equipment safely and conveniently.
Please do not move the teepee's once they have been set up. It is not permitted to move the position of any of the teepees, or to move to another room.
Pets are not allowed in the tents or bell tents.
We operate a STRICT NO SMOKING policy inside the teepees and bell tents.
Candles with flames are not permitted inside or near the teepees and bell tents. Battery operated candles or LED/solar lights are provided.
For your protection and safety, cooking is not prohibited inside the bell tents. Fire pits and BBQ's can cause fires and the release of deadly carbon monoxide.
Fire pits should be situated a safe distance from the bell tent and should not be left unattended.
We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for losses or other costs incurred as a result of acts of God including fire, flood, storm or natural disasters.
Your chosen bell tent site must be on clear, flat, firm ground with easy access. The hire charges do not include any making good or repairing of damage to the site. PLEASE NOTE: The bell tent cannot be pitched on artificial turf or paving.
Please ensure your selected site is not susceptible to bogginess or has poor drainage. Any flooding caused is the responsibility of the hirer.

Slumber Tents undertakings

We will deliver, set up and furnish your teepee, bell tent or picnic table at a mutually agreed time.
We will dismantle and remove all equipment at a mutually agreed time.
While we will do everything possible to ensure our tents are erected at the agreed time and date, no responsibility or liability can be accepted for delays due to road accidents or severe traffic problems.

Payment

A £10 non-refundable deposit is payable on booking an indoor teepee, or picnic. An additional £50 security deposit is required at the time of your balance payment, which will be refunded to you (in full or minus the cost of any damages incurred) within two working days of the end of the booking.
A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure the date of your bell tent. An additional £100 security deposit is required at the time of your balance payment, which will be refunded to you (in full or minus the cost of any damages incurred) within two working days of the end of your booking.
The balance payment is required one week before your event.

Cancellation

Your holding deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel after you have paid the full cost of your tent hire, we are unable to refund you unless we are able to rebook the teepee's, tents or bell tent for the same date. If this happens we may offer the tent at a reduced price to encourage a late booking and any money we recover we will refund to you.
In the event of extreme weather conditions making it impossible to erect the bell tent, we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for losses or other costs incurred as a result. In this situation we will work with you to offer you an alternative date, where possible.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time. In the very unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be made, however we cannot accept responsibility or liability for losses or any other costs incurred as a result.

Delivery

Delivery is free if you live within 10 miles of CO7. Anywhere further than 10 miles will be charged at 45p per mile . For example; Chelmsford is 29 miles away. The first 10 miles is free. So we would need to charge you for the 19 extra miles. 19 miles x 45p is £5.55. There are 4 journeys (there and back to set up and there and back to pack down) making the cost £34.20.

If a member of Slumber Tents is asked to move furniture etc they are not liable for any damages incurred.
The person/organisation hiring this equipment will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times. The hirer accepts sole responsibility for the safety of all persons using this equipment and agrees supervision at all times by you, or another responsible adult and accept full liability for any injury occurring from misuse or reckless use. Slumber Tents cannot be held responsible for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
